Did you know the PS4 controller works on the PS3?

01 July 2014 - 10:57 AM

I just read an article on N4G, that the PS4's controller works on the PS3 when connected via wire, and now works wirelessly thanks to the update.  I was curious if anyone was using theirs on the PS3, and did u experience any issues?  Not sure how to link from my phone or I would have linked the article.  Will definitely give this a try when I get home...

Whether or not they plan on releasing larger memcards for the Vita here in the States, cause so far looks like they were only released overseas?

The apps on the 360 are fantastic...

Has MS said anything on when these apps will come to the One? I am curious why are the same apps not available cross consoles since technically, my Live account is the same on both consoles.  Would MS have to come into another agreement with the provider to gain access on the One? I guess what I am asking is why wouldn't One release with the same access to these apps as the 360?

Industry insider Pete Dodd has a pretty good track record with his sources, and today he dropped something quite interesting: according to him Microsoft is in talks with Amazon to transfer the property of the Xbox One division to the giant online retail corporation.

Two things. Titanfall launch show with @geoffkeighley. Have you announced that yet? Also, xbox bought by Amazon? Bookmark this.

The latter isn’t even close to done. If it gets finished at all. But, that’s the scuttlebutt. Do with it what you may.

Microsoft is looking to dump xbox. Amazon is looking for gaming assets. Talks have started.

The Titanfall launch show with Geoff Keighley is definitely believable, considering he’s working on a Final Hours feature on the game.
The purchase of the Xbox division by Amazon is something I’ll take with a sizable pinch of salt. It’s true that there have been insistent rumors lately from prominent insider and press sources on a possible spin-off of the Xbox One division, but it definitely generates profits at the moment. Wedbush Morgan analyst Michael Pachter defined the possibility “dumb and dumber.” We’ll have to wait and see who will be proven right in the end.
