  4. This has been news for a week or two now but there wasn’t anything released yet worth talking about. But now Riley has brought his excellent made for iOS multi system emulator Delta officially to the app store. It of course supports actual gamepads like xbox pads or backbone attachments. Though the nicely designed haptics means that if you are just playing a bit at the dentist it won’t be the worst time using those. Right now it’s just Nintendo systems but the alt store version supports some other systems and this says more to come, so expect to see t16, genesis, etc. Now we wait to see when Retroarch and Dolphin make it over! Delta Game Emulator Now Available From App Store on iPhone WWW.MACRUMORS.COM Game emulator apps have come and gone since Apple announced App Store support for them on April 5, but now popular game emulator Delta from developer...
  5. Zero Dawn graphically isn’t really comparable. I do think it got a patch to run at 4k checkerboard at 60fps at least. But mostly it’ll look like it does on the deck but at 60fps.
  6. Hey I post OC sometimes too. But yeah scores are of note to me, because they affect how a game sells. So if it’s a game I like I want it to get good scores. But I don’t let the score decide for me if I like a game or not. To me the most important thing is if the game is the type of game I feel like playing at the moment. I’m playing Alone in the Dark despite its low 60s score and having a great time because it’s the type of game I feel like playing now. I could play DD2 which has great reviews and is more polished with more refined mechanics..but it’s not a 1920’s noir horror story set in a mansion with a lot of puzzles to solve. There’s flaws, but being the type of game I want to play far outweighs them.
  7. I was just giving an example of a game I liked that didn’t get great reviews vs a game that got very very high reviews. Just saying you don’t need to put so much stock into what reviewers have to say!
  8. “contradictory to review scores” is such a weird thing to say to me :P None of this is objective! Halo 3 bored me - the gunplay in Robocop is a lot more fun and visceral for me.
  9. Also a reminder that the makers of the great Wolfenstein reboots, MachineGames, is who is working on the Indiana Jones game coming later this year. They are also the team that came from ex-starbreeze aka The Darkness/Ridick which holds well for their first person melee pedigree with the whip and stuff. Game is gonna rule.
  10. I got Oddworld Soulstorm cuz it was $1 on fanatical so why not
  11. F.E.A.R No One Lives Forever Robocop Crysis 2 Bioshock Wolfenstein 2 TNC Titanfall 2 Duke Nukem 3D Dusk Doom 2
