Only got to watch the first episode and I really enjoyed it. They definitely nailed the look and feel of the Fallout world. I am glad they are telling their own self contained story instead of trying to tell the story of one of the games.

The toxic players have been trickling in for awhile now. Before this last patch, people were kicking people if they did not run shield and railguns and definitely kicking if you are lower level even though that really does not play into to much. I have been kicked for being lower level and not running the meta build so have quit playing solo. I only play now if my friends can run a full squad.

Finally got to play for several hours last night. We found having the host invite the rest of the squad to the game while we didn’t have the game launched worked like a charm. The game is just so much fun with a full squad of friends.

I honestly am surprised companies like Frontier and Spirit haven’t implemented costs for the level of rest their crew members have. I flew Frontier once in my life and that’s because my old company owned them and it was one of the worst flying experiences in my life. You couldn’t pay me to get on Spirit. i am actually more consolidation hasn’t happened yet especially on the regional airline level.

What are they going to do Boeing this time? They already fined them 2.5 billion back in 2021 about lying to the FAA AEG about their Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS) on the 737 Max. I look forward to Boeing getting fined another 2.5 billion dollars and they just move on like they did the last time when Boeing was shown to be straight up lying to the FAA AEG about their Maneuvering Characteristics Augmentation System (MCAS). Unless you drag the CEO out to a guillotine this crap is still going to keep happening with them.

Now it’s time to buy some real dice and the players handbook.

I have loved 5E and watching Hasbro just run things into the dirt has been depressing. Just glad I have the books for 5E when they finally ruin DndBeyond.

Sorry DnD nerd is my first language. At level 2 a wizard picks their subclass and Evocation is the school of destruction magic and one of the benefits it gives you is your damage dealing spells like Fireball does not harm your party members. So you can run full into combat with Karlach or La'zel and not worry about dropping a fireball on them. Their damage is ignored. Each spellcaster learns spells at level up. Spellcasters like Bard, Warlock, and Sorcerer only get new spells at level up and are limited to how many they can learn. Whereas a wizard, can learn new spells so long as you have the gold and they are at the level of the spell. So for example, you have Gale who is at levels up to level 5 and you pick Fly and Lightning bolt for your 3rd level spells. Then you find Fireball on a dead body he can then add that to his spell book for like 100 GP and the scroll is destroyed. Just from a mechanical standpoint Gale can be such a force on the battlefield.

My friends have me playing The Finals and it is pretty fun with the destructive environment. It just makes me miss Battlefield 4.

If you are a full spellcaster like Wizard or Sorceror he defiantly is redundant, but if you are playing a more melee focus having him in the party is a must. A wizard is a beast and can grow their spell book so much as Larian allows you to learn new cantrips on top of your level spell. Then throw him being an evocation wizard allows you to drop fireballs, wall of fire, and other big spells without worry of hitting your own party. Nothing beats using the void bombs pulling a bunch of enemies into a small area and then dropping a 5th level fireball on them.

I enjoyed all three of the DA games, but just no excitement here for this game. A video to just announce a trailer next year. I just wish this constant hyping of releasing an announcement to announce another announcement to just announce a trailer would die.

I look at this and what BioWare did with Dragon Age and it’s night and day. I am so hyped for GTA6, but that lackluster video to announce a trailer all but killed any hype for me. The online aspect with my friends will just be crazy on that map. I just hope they don’t try to do all of the crapped they pulled with rdr2 online with the season passes and putting everything behind their currency to push you to spend more money. this game will print money especially if they put out free content like they did with GTA5 online.

Of the games I have played, it is hands down Baldur's Gate 3 for me and it is not even close. I enjoyed Hogwarts, Mario Wonders, and Tears of the Kingdom.
