Kate Upton's bikini scene was removed from 3 Stooges because MPAA said was too revealing.

So a girl in a bikini makes it rated R or even PG 13? WTF. It won't be on the DVD release either. Hopefully they kept it on the Blu Ray trailer extras though, I know the boys will be wanting to pause that baby...

Thousands of people this weekend saw "Three Stooges", and I'd venture to say some were looking for the scene of Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model Kate Upton to emerge from the pool in her very revealing nun outfit -- as you can see in the preview clip above.

But, that wasn't the case in the movie.

Seems the Motion Picture Association of America thought the scene was too revealing, and directors Bobby and Peter Farrelly had to eliminate it from the final movie, which finished second in its debut weekend to "Hunger Games" at the time of it's release.

"Yeah, can you believe that? I guess it's OK for kids killing kids, but you can't show a woman in a bathing suit?" Peter Farrelly to ESPN Playbook Trending. "It looked pretty harmless to me. She was just jiggling around."

It might have something to do with The American Catholic League, who described the bathing suit scene of "Sister Bernie" as blasphemous. And word got back to the MPPA, and the scene was deleted.

"Those people in that group are just uptight," director Bobby Farrelly said. "They have nothing better to do than that?"

Upton wasn't the only person with sports ties in the movie. New England Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo and former Patriots wide receiver Troy Brown were "gang bangers". And Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard made an appearance near the end of the movie.

"We spent time trying to figure out what to do with Dwight, but we couldn't come up with anything," Peter Farrelly said. "So he was just standing there helping kids play basketball. How original is that?"

Yeah but her boobs look bigger in the OP pic so I'd call that a fair trade.

If you went to pay $10 to watch a shitty movie just for a 25 second scene of Kate Upton in a bikini... you need to reevaluate your priorities.

At any rate, I bet it had more to do with the "nun" thing. But it's true, it has become very, very easy to get a PG-13 rating. The MPAA hands out PG-13s like... let's say lube at a porn convention?

I'm a STooges nut. I actually enjoyed the movie for what it was. Nothing amazing, but it was a nice homage to the Stooges. I hope for a sequel. I assume you don't like the original Three STooges, because most Stooges fan accepted it as I did. @Fizzzzle

I'm generally not a fan of low-brow slapstick comedy like the Stooges. It takes no effort and is aimed at the lowest common denominator.

But if you like it, hey, different strokes and all that.

its def an acquired taste. I got hooked on them from my grandpa who was long time stooges nut. Started watching and just loved Curly. Mind you, there are some bad bad shows they did, but the best stuff was from the 30's and early 40's. Rest sucked when Curly had his stroke in 1947 while filming Half Wits Holiday. R.I.P. Curly (Babe) Howard.

I wouldn't even think that anyone is getting that on DVD/Blu Ray for that scene.  Personally I don't care for her.  She is just another blonde model.  Dime a dozen.

About the movie I have heard if you like the original Three Stooges then would enjoy this film.  So most likely will pick up.

it's got some good moments. The actor that plays Curly has it down perfectly. And love seeing Snooki get poked by Moe. @JVC920
