While I think that some of the pieces can evoke feelings of loneliness or sadness, I think for the most part I'm looking for music to slow down to. Something that can let you take a deep breath and slow down. So here are my first two contributions even though they're from Glassenger

Classical music can certainly span the gamut from some very aggressive to very slow pieces, but I was thinking it might be nice to focus on the serene. I'm not really familiar with many classical composers outside of history's greats like Bach or Mozart or whoever. TheGlassPassenger sent me something from a more recent composer and I loved it and decided that it would be nice to grow a collection of music like it.

Two excellent pieces.
To add to them:
This one is actually more rousing than relaxing, but still a great piece:

Since you already mentioned Bach:

“Meryem. That is your name.”
Unable to bask in the sound of his name as Netero uttered it, the King just stared at the old man, who should have been waving a white flag.
“Meryem, King of the ants. You don’t understand a thing ... man’s potential for evolution is limitless ...!!”
That was the first time the King felt fear. The old man should have been wrung out and waiting for death. But there in his face was the proof that his words were not empty.
