They'll need to both win the Toys R Us IP at the bankruptcy auction, as well as buy up the real estate holdings for a number of store locations.

So are there any real brick and mortar Toy Stores these days? I went to Toys R Us yesterday. All they really had was birthday cards 90% off and you could buy the racks.

Mostly local ones, though KB Toys and Party City are opening pop-up shops this holiday season, with KB saying they'll keep the ones that do the best business.
