Voyager just fired thrusters it hasn’t used since flying by Saturn in 1980

Very cool and impressive. Also cool how long it took a signal traveling at the speed of light to reach Voyager and then return. Since sunlight takes around 8 minutes to reach Earth, Voyager is roughly 2.4 times as far away from Earth as the Sun is to Earth. :daydream:

The article says 141 times further away. Am I misunderstanding what you are saying? It's said the signal took 19+ hours each way.

Ha bloody hell, you're right, I somehow had it in my head that it was 19 minutes, not 19 hours. So yeah... much further. :blush:
