Baller.
Some of the effects are super useful. I found one that gave me +Running Speed which is nice.

Which vendor did you get that nice bonus from?
The deeds for Soniarus in Torigoth and Knick-Knacks in Fonsa Myma each give you a 5% run speed bump.

I should do up a list of all the deeds I've gotten so far..

I really hate these patches. It always makes me put the game down until its release, but then I never get back to it and it enters my black hole of a backlog.
Why does knowledge of a patch coming make you stop?

More and more patches lately include free content and knowing that I will only play a massive RPG like this once, I feel compelled to wait to see what it is. Same thing happened to me with FFXV. Still never went back to it.

All of X2's new content is season pass related.  And it doesn't sound like it would be worth investing in until later.

The patch next week is adding a few things, no season pass required.

Mostly adjustments to the UI and maybe a slight performance boost.

I've salvaged over $1M worth so far.  Enough to buy the inherited core in Gormott and plenty left over.  I'm buying nothing but gold cylinders now.

I actually salvaged up an odd key item too, but I have no idea what it's for.

Edit: Also salvaged a rare blade.

I need to play this more!  Stupid fucking holidays and family commitments.

For anyone this far in. Is there a more annoying enemy than the phantoms in chapter 7? Oh good God, I hate it so much.

Haven't played for about a week.

...how do you check out tutorials as a refresher? I don't see an option.

They expect you to have a photographic memory. I hope they patch in a way to review the fucking tutorials.

I usually just hit an online site and then take on some lower level enemies to get a feel for controls.....

...so there's no tutorial refresher then. Nice. Have like 80,000 mechanics and then no way to confirm anything about them. What the fuck. That's such basic stuff.

The way fast travel works in this game breaks the narrative so hilariously.

Oh Architect. How are we going to get to Gormott. I guess we'll have to commission a ship. Meanwhile, I'm warpping back and forth everywhere.

I'm pretty sure the only reason it works this way is because you can't really grind anywhere and level up since leveling is tied to sleeping at an inn. However, the sleep mechanic is so overly complicated. Just have guys level up right then and there. This isn't even like a Zelda game where you can three heart the thing. There are some cut scenes that will level you up taking the option away from the player.
