So. LET'S TAKE BETS.

Senior Advisor to the President. Current official. How many meet that description?

Bannon is Chief Strategist

Kushner is a Senior Advisor

Stephen Miller is a Senior Advisors

Priebus is Chief of Staff

Conway is a Special Counselor

McGahn is the WH Counsel

I don't see it being Conway or Priebus because this doesn't seem to be the sort of thing they'd bother with.

And it wouldn't be a cabinet official either. Otherwise, they'd say CABINET official in the story.

Bannon, Kushner, and Miller are more likely. Possibly McGahn also given his disposition to have 'covered' for Flynn.

Kushner has his hands in a lot of pies, so I wouldn't put this past him.

Bannon and Miller are strategists, so I see this as being something they'd think would be beneficial.

So I'm going with one of those four. Bannon, Kushner, Miller, or McGahn.

I don't know enough about Miller or McGahn to comment on them. Kushner seems like the most likely to let himself get played. Bannon would go for it because of his whole "blow up the government" fetish.

These two stories broke as soon as Air Force One took off from Andrews.

Can you imagine what it would be like to be stuck on the plane with Trump for half a day as he finds out about these stories?

Oh God, that means Kushner would be swept up in money laundering schemes.

I CAN'T NOT FAP ANYMORE.

My dad has been convinced for at least a month that this turns out to have all been about money laundering.

This Politico article has a neat little morsel in it:

http://www.politico.com/story/2017/05/19/trump-michael-flynn-firing-mistake-aides-238618

Quote

Among some who know Trump, the constant need to defend Flynn seems out of self-preservation. Trump, who liked employees to sign non-disclosure agreements, knows Flynn had at least one private meeting with Trump adviser Jared Kushner and Russian officials, and has been in the room for dozens of other sensitive meetings.

I'm betting that this is essential confirmation that the senior advisor in the WaPo story is Kushner.

copypasta from the Discord:

Trump senses Flynn is a slimy piece of shit

and not 100% loyal to Trump

that's what this is all about

this Flynn obsession I mean
