Just seems like a lot more hassle trying to put your package through two layers of clothing, just to pee (assuming you sleep with underwear). Also, seems like a higher chance of getting pee on you. A lot of the newer underwear I have are the boxer brief style with the bigger pouch in the front, that kind of cradles everything. They have a slit in the front but they don't seem to be made for peeing through because it's like off center.
