  3. http://www.cbc.ca/news/technology/blackberry-taps-user-messages-1.3620186 A number of insiders, none of whom were authorized to speak, say that behind the scenes the company has been actively assisting police in a wide range of high profile investigations. But unlike many other technology companies, which regularly publish transparency reports, it is not clear how many requests BlackBerry receives each year, nor the number of requests it has fulfilled. They even helped bring down A-Rod.

  10. BACKGROUND: 0bama is set to announce today a unilateral halting of deportations of some 5 million illegals in this country, claiming he possesses the legal authority to do so without Congress. WaPO fact-checked Obama's claim that he always believed such an action is legal. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/fact-checker/wp/2014/11/18/obamas-flip-flop-on-using-executive-action-on-illegal-immigration/ Could someone please inform Obama 2014 that Obama 2011, Obama 2012, and Obama 2013 don't think he has the legal authority to halt deportations? Because this is an impeachable offense here. This is a nation of laws, and aside from some kooks here on these internets no one's calling for an American Caesar or another Lincoln.

  13. I dont agree with everything in this article...and #5 is funny, thought i'd post this anyway...since we have nothing much to talk about right now in regards to The Show.. http://corruptedcartridge.com/mlb-14-worries/ 5. I can almost guarantee that we still won’t be able to hit the f$%*ing ball. I apologize, but this is a sensitive subject for me. Maybe it’s just me, but the last few Show games have had impossibly difficult hitting mechanics. I find that even when I ignore all other attribute upgrades in favor of the offensive ones, I still can’t hit more than .250 with 20 homers on the harder difficulties. I have a SS for the Blue Jays that has been a 99 overall for 3 seasons, but if I crank the difficulty and don’t mess with the sliders, he hits like the Astros. This hasn’t stopped me from loving the franchise, and I believe that hitting should be difficult. Mark McGuire once said that hitting a baseball is the most difficult thing to do in all of sports, and I agree with him. The reaction time and coordination required is truly remarkable. However, I still can’t help but be a little salty that I can smash face in every other sports game but can’t hit the ball further than 350 feet, despite a 90 in the power rating.

  15. http://www.nhl.com/i...s.htm?id=693152 TORONTO -- The National Hockey League's new Canadian broadcast and multimedia rights agreement with Rogers Communications announced Tuesday will change the way Canadians view and consume professional hockey for years to come. "This is a deal that we think is transformational," NHL Commissioner Gary Bettman said. "Nobody has ever done a deal quite like this in terms of its structure, its length or its magnitude. It's focused on delivering NHL hockey to the most passionate hockey fans in the world on a country-wide basis in a way that we think will give them the greatest connectivity to the game." The 12-year agreement, announced jointly by the NHL and Rogers in a Tuesday morning press conference, is for $5.232 billion (Canadian). It's the largest media rights deal in NHL history and one of the largest media rights deals in Canadian history. It is also Canada's largest sports-media rights agreement. The partnership between the NHL and Rogers begins with the 2014-15 season and runs through the 2025-26 season. It is subject to approval by the NHL's Board of Governors, which meets Dec. 9-10 in Pebble Beach, Calif. Suck it TSN, you can go to hell for your shitty pretending to be a 'Sports Network' and then only broadcasting hockey, only showing hockey on highlights shows, letting Rogers buy up every other sport, and now Rogers just bought up your 'all eggs in one basket' sport. SUCK IT. :daydream: :daydream: :daydream: :daydream:
  16. http://boingboing.net/2013/08/14/cops-accidentally-record-thems.html#more-249906 "An anti-rodeo/animal right activist was subjected to a blatantly illegal, harassing traffic stop after he was asked to leave an Oregon rodeo. How do we know it was illegal? Because the cops who stopped him and recorded themselves admitting that the rodeo (which is a major donor to the Malheur County Sheriff's Department) had demanded the traffic stop. The same cops who participated in the stop were previously at the center of a lawsuit that the county settled in which they were alleged to have fabricated evidence, so they've got form for this. Some dialog highlights:..."
