Haven’t watched the finale yet. But as a non book reader I can say I wasn’t/am not expecting a large battle of any kind. That would actually be pretty disappointing if there was one haha. The political and social maneuvering is what makes the story great and that’s how I’m hoping it finishes its story.

Yeah that was bizarre as BG3 was everywhere. It didn’t last as long as the first one but I seem to remember a fairly good chunk of time where insane Zelda creation videos were all the rage as well. And we can already check the “cultural phenomenon” box in 2024 thanks to Helldivers 2

I got bored and stopped playing

For my actual kid, Bluey is a really funny above average kids show. There’s lots of shows for really little kids with nice lessons(PBS shows) but less for the slightly older 4-8 age. But the reason that you hear so much hype for Bluey is that as a parent that show makes you feel absolutely seen. Im not sure if thats the correct way to describe it but thats what it feels like to me. It hits on situations and feelings that are a little more intimate than the stereotypical parent problems stuff. Things you might not have realized other people are also experiencing. That’s the brilliance of the show.

Am I missing the large group of people that want this show to continue without Cavill? Who’s asking for this? Will it end with Ciri doing her own version of “Flowers” and finding out new Geralt is a piece of shit?

I’m in, that looks great. Josh Hartnett is also criminally underrated.

I finally got caught up. This is, with out exaggeration or any hyperbole, is one of the greatest pieces of media I have experienced. That last episode in particular. It should be getting talked about in the conversation for greatest individual episodes of television of all time. I really hope this show and its actors get the recognition they deserve

Agreed. I feel like this is an instance where the movie could/should be better than the book. I liked the book a lot but it def could have been more.

12 years really isn’t as much of a time jump as it seems in terms of the way people look. Paul’s what, 20 at the end of Dune? Little make up and the right lighting and your good.
