I should go back and give Tron: Evolution another go. Hard for it to stand up against my memory of Tron 2.0 though. Panned games? I have a place in my heart for Return to Zork...Want some rye? Course ya do There is a super old text and windows game that was terrible: Omnitrends Universe II (the sequel to the first in the series of the same name). If there was critical review I'm sure it was panned.
No but that sort of thing gets overbilled a lot. It will be interesting to see what happens with the Fed rate hike in September. The US economy is strong and P/E in *some* stocks was not overvalued. Then too, the market likes to be overvalued for long periods of time. You have more people buying than selling -- the nature of retirement plans.
Is there a choice in the matter? Even if we came up with a strategy where something useful could be done, apparently in the US things are so politicized that it wouldn't happen because people can't tell the difference between a missile strike and full scale ground invasion. Anyways, many of the parties involved are sort of unredemptive assholes and deserve to be locked in a death grip struggle with each other for all eternity.
Remember when people were fretting about China overtaking the US economy and oh no the US isn't what it used to be and blah blah blah. People are fucking stupid. What was that line in So Long and Thanks for all the Fish about how if people stopped talking their brains might start working? Yeah, that.
Aaaaand it's over. http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2015/03/06/state-dept-says-hillary-clintons-use-of-personal-email-somehow-didnt-violate-her-own-rule-against-using-personal-email/ Or, if you're like me and find The Blaze to be gross and insane: http://www.dailynewsbin.com/news/state-department-confirms-hillary-clinton-email-violated-no-laws-or-policies/21851/ For those keeping score at home, Anathema, CayceG and brucoe were right, and McClumber1, SnayNay, ByWatterson MassDriver, Jason and Engel were wrong. This should come as a surprise to no one. Sadly, there are no consequences to the usual suspects for being themselves.
I suppose it helps if you have positive memories of the 90s, which many people do. Might skew older than the message board crowd. Honestly, I do think Hillary can bring that sort of peace and prosperity to the US again. I realize most people disagree, and of course there will be perpetual fighting between the Clinton obsessives and the people who think things like Benghazi accusations are at least somewhat trumped up. As for the primaries, I'm willing to let it play out. I'll support pretty much any Dem who can win them. Best of luck to Bernie. I also like Biden quite a bit. However, the nation doesn't seem to take him very seriously. Maybe that is still better than the haters that the Clintons bring with them as baggage.
Spent $3500 this morning around 16K even. Will spend more if it goes down further. For rational people, this is the perfect situation. You know that the market is being irrational and that the fundamentals domestically are pretty good. So basically everything is on sale. As for buying VIX...man I would've had to be psychic. The market looked pretty boring for awhile there.
