  1. A lot of the sites were around then, though, and there were more big magazines as well. God of War 2 has 70 reviews; it wasn't just IGN and Gamespot.
  2. 2017-2018 Regular Season Thread

I'm actually watching Seinfeld again right now. Perfect timing!
  3. Best PS4 Console exclusive?

  4. If you can pull the same amount of reviews that are saying what people are saying about this one, I'd honestly love to see them. I remember the game being called one of the best on the PS2, but all-timer? Not to the level of this one. Gamespot gave it a glowing 9.2 review yet had this to say: I've heard nothing remotely similar about this game's combat in the overwhelming majority of the glowing reviews. I know IGN called it one of the best action games ever made, but at that point, it certainly was, which wouldn't really bode poorly for this iteration. Again, it's quite possible this is getting that praise because people think it's that great. It's not beyond the realm of possibility or that far-fetched.
  5. Based on his, Booker's and Gillibrand's work, I'd assume all three should.
  6. Best PS4 Console exclusive?

    I don't mind being unaware.
  7. Median pay of an Amazon worker in 2017: $28,446

I actually switched my video games/electronics to Best Buy over the past few years, with video games over the past year. Gamers Club just makes so much more sense than Amazon and is superior.
  8. Best PS4 Console exclusive?

As it's my primary console, it doesn't matter as much to me as I'm playing the stuff like Witcher 3, MGSV, Resident Evil, Deus Ex and all of that on it. But in terms of exclusives, I've been loving it. Just Sony's output alone has been a lot of fun. Of the ones I've played and at least really enjoyed: Alienation Bloodborne Counterspy Everybody's Gone to the Rapture Gravity Rush Remastered Gravity Rush 2 Helldivers Horizon Zero Dawn Infamous: First Light Infamous: Second Son Matterfall PixelJunk Shooter Ultimate Ratchet & Clank Resogun Shadow of the Colossus Tearaway Unfolded The Last Guardian The Last of Us: Remastered Uncharted 4: A Thief's End Uncharted: The Lost Legacy Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection Until Dawn Add in all the third party games it gets, put in games like Persona 5, and it's seriously overwhelming for me.
  9. Best PS4 Console exclusive?

If this thread has reminded me of anything, it's that there are a lot of good fucking games on the system.
  10. Being black in Starbucks is now a crime.

The two men spoke on GMA. According to them, they were there not too long after asking to use the bathroom before the police came.
  11. I've seen it at Best Buys. Amazon never has it, but I feel like you can order it and pick it up at a Best buy if none are available since they always have it listed instead of unavailable. Someone needs to experiment with this as I already own it and have no need to try it.
  12. I know The Last of Us took a little while for the gameplay elements to open. The start was still REALLY great at setting the mood, but as far as wide stealth areas and the like, you had to go in just a bit before everything opened. Still, I never mind playing the beginning of that game; it sets everything up so well.

I mean, it's not that it gets different; it's that the game I guess doesn't make it clearer that the shoulder buttons are the best way to control Trico. It's been a while, but I believe the game does tell you how to control Trico while mounted on her, but I don't know if it made as fine a point as the game should have (despite it being my 2016 GOTY, it's GOTY for me despite its flaws, which are noticeable). I rarely had any issues telling her to go somewhere whenever I held R1 and pointed to go there, or commanded her from up top, and that's a shared sentiment among people who didn't have control issues. Enough people had issues that I know it must be partly the game's explanation of the controls. But once you know, it's second nature, and Trico responds, sometimes might hesitate just a bit to ground itself (which I liked to make Trico not seem robotic), but does what you ask her to do. Some of the solutions pretty ingenuous, some are freaking cute with how they utilize her. You'll encounter frame rate issues and I'm sure more camera issues, but the set pieces/cleverness of some of the puzzles I'd say improves. It may not improve dramatically enough that you'll fall in love. I usually only know people who fell in love with the game or who at most thought it was OK, but I don't know many people who went back after not enjoying it the first time.
  14. With a few exceptions, most of these are Sony first party. After God of War... I may be willing to buy some of them full price. $20 for Nioh seems like a steal. Also, Gran Turismo/Horizon are on there twice because they have two different versions. If you don't have Horizon yet, I recommend the Complete Edition which includes the Frozen Wilds DLC.
