  1. Can defendants get the axe if they lose their trial? That might be a fair trade off :P
  2. Yeah, this is why I think Ahsoka and the gang get stuck in Peridea while Thrawn escapes. Also gives time for Thrawn to build up his army for the movie Filoni is directing that they said would be the culmination of the Mando-verse.
  3. My guess is that Sabine, Ezra and Ahsoka get stranded on Peridea. Season 2 will focus on them stopping Baylan from whatever he's after and getting back to the main galaxy. Thrawn escapes and starts building his army which will lead to the crossover movie that was announced. Really sucks about Ray Stevenson. His portrayal as Baylan is perfect and will be tough to get someone to fill his shoes
  4. Thrawn and Ezra are in a different galaxy all together. When they use the map it shows two different galaxies, the line points between the path between both that they need to take from their galaxy to where thrawn is.
  5. The art style was just absolutely gorgeous, imo. I think I agree with the sentiment that the characters were well written even if the plot was just ok.
  6. Fury and Talos were alone. He didn't bring anyone himself. The soldiers protecting the president from Gravik were part of the envoy transporting the president. The soldiers did seem to know who Fury was though.
  7. Either a 51 man child is forcing twitter to rebrand it's logos to doge dog, or firing all your engineers made an april fools joke 2 days late. Either one is funny actaully, but not in the way he thinks it was funny.
  8. In an odd twist, Disney is paying to sue themselves. The district themselves are the ones retaining lawyers and the district is funded 100% by taxes of property owners. Remember, the district was not dissolved like the original plan. Because the idiots did not realize that if that happened all the extra taxes Disney pays to the special district would go away, and the debts would fall on the counties themselves. So this is why in the special session last month they wrote a new bill that nullified the previous bill and they only renamed the current district and changed the make-up to be state appointed instead of by the property owners inside the district. So much for Taxation without representation. Also side note, Disney paid taxes to BOTH Orange and Osceola Counties. This is in addition to what they pay the special district. So all that "they don't pay their fair share" was a bunch of bs in the first place in this particular instance. They didn't even receive most services the counties usually provide either, since the special district manages road works, uitilities, EMT (why you never pay for an ambulance while at WDW) and fire.
  9. I thought it was an OK episode. I think the biggest issue is that up until now we haven't spent very much time away from Mando in any episode. There were a few scenes here and there over the first few seasons, but nothing like this. So it definitely just felt out of norm for the show. I do like seeing what is happening outside of his view to get a better sense of "why", it was just awkward compared to the rest of the series. Perhaps if they broke it up and went back to Mando for a bit it wouldn't have felt as dragging on.
  10. Rtings really f'ed up the cycles for Sony TVs though. Not sure how Samsung handles compensation cycles, but it is critical part of how the manufacturers ensure even wear of the individual pixels. For reference, LG runs their compensation cycle 15 minutes after you turn the tv off when a culmilative 4 hours of tv use. Sony wait a 4 hours to run this cycle. This is all automatic and nothing the user needs to do. So with their schedule, LG runs this cycle 21x a week vs 3x for the Sony. To top it off, I was one of the people who brought this to their attention when after two weeks they saw the burn in on Sony OLED because their original schedule did not allow Sony to run these cycles at all. Again, I'm not familiar with how Samsung handles this. OLEDs are prone to burn in under very specific use, but I think for the vast majority with varies viewing it really is nothing to be concerned about.
