  1. I find it delightful. It touches on a lot of parenting issues with accuracy and smart humor. Compared to most of the 'kid's' cartoons out there, it's very refreshing, even if they don't talk about butts and farting. I didn't used to care for Peppa Pig. Initially, I found it annoying AF, but it has grown on me, in a big way. Unlike Bluey, it's light on life lessons, but it is cute and unoffensive. (The kid's named one of their Guinea Pigs 'Peppa'.) The Peppa Pig crew's 'Ben and Holly's Little Kingdom' is also a lot of fun. I prefer it over Peppa, but probably because it's newer and I haven't seen every episode 100 times. '... and we're elves! *blows horn*' It's a bit more rambunctious, but Mighty Mike is pretty baller, too. The two main antagonists are 'Freddy' and 'Mercury', come on!
  2. One more episode to go. It's very good. I haven't played the games in so long, but it does hit a lot of things that I actually do remember. Can someone explain episode 'The Trap' to me. I was starting to drift off and didn't quite get... All in all, I love it. It felt like things slowed down a bit in the last 2 episodes, but really looking forward to the finale.
  3. Everyone be sure to spread your seeds today!
  4. The problem was, they just couldn't throw them high enough. Even at 99%, it was cool. I enjoyed the dim light more than watching the moon pass by. It was a lot different than the light from a sunrise or a sunset. 100% would've been neat. My daughter was really excited for about 20 or 30 minutes, then it was time to move on. My son wasn't super interested, but around 3, finally said 'Fine, I'll go look at the solar eclipse.'
  5. Both kids are being sent home with eclipse glasses, so I guess we'll be checking it out. It was really cloudy earlier, but all clear now. They say we're in the 99% area. The local weather boys are in Toledo.
  6. Around Christmas time, my Uncle signed me up to receive a paper tv guide each month. I'm not sure why.
  7. I love music from that era, but never really got into Kiss. I am indifferent to this... 'collacquisition'. Actually, no. I'm not indifferent. If Simmons and whomever else are the remaining members of Kiss, are able to split a cool 300 mil, decades after stardom, I say God Bless.
  8. I wonder how many companies made a quick million(s) on something that people will only use for 4 minutes and then be placed in a junk drawer forever.
  9. Oregon Man Jokes 'I Need a Beer' After He Narrowly Dodges Runaway Saw Blade from Construction Site PEOPLE.COM An Oregon man dodged a saw blade that broke off of equipment at a nearby construction site as he was entering Quicktrips Neighborhood Market in Eugene earlier this week. More on the story. I do question the sizes mentioned. 4 foot blade that embedded itself 2 feet into the wall. Seems sensationalized.
