I've decided to extend our charity campaign for The Life You Can Save organizations for the entirety of 2017 so feel free to contribute at any time!  Periodically through the year, I'll have game giveaways for those who have donated to the campaign as a "thank you" for supporting this worthy endeavor!

      D1Pcast Episode 28: The 2017 E3 Review Show (Recording June 23 - share your E3 impressions!)   06/01/2017

Now that E3 2017 has concluded, the D1Pcast crew will be recording its impressions of the show on Friday June 23 at around 6:30pm Eastern time.  Like we did for the preview show, we'll run through each conference and give our thoughts on the good, bad, and the wonderfully inexplicable (Devolver Digital - I'm looking at you!).   We're very much interested in hearing your thoughts and impressions about this past E3, so feel free to share them in this thread.  Or -- even better! -- if you'd like to join us for this episode, we'd love to have you on the show!  The more, the merrier as we put a capstone on our E3 2017 coverage!

      E3 2017 is upon us!   06/07/2017

The annual celebration of all things video gaming is upon us, so let us share in the revelry and post the news, videos, interviews, and discussion topics in our dedicated E3 2017 board here:   http://www.dayonepatch.com/index.php?/forum/122-e3-2017/   Also, feel free to join our Discord server for live text and voice chat of the various conferences - here's an invite that (theoretically) should not expire:   https://discord.gg/chqTQ2F   Let's all have a magnificent E3!

  2. Whelp, Goku is dead. Time to pack it in boys. Series over
  3. Which version of the driver are you using? They released ones on Friday that were all sorts of fucked up and released a hotfix which is version 375.63. Before I installed the hotfix I felt like my computer had Alzheimer disease because of the random problems that kept piling up.
  4. It's the nvidia drivers, they know about/have known about it. What I ended up doing was disabling hardware acceleration in Chrome's settings. I guess "they're" working on it.
  5. Already on page 9 of the first chapter, lol
  6. Is it really? I should probably read that. The more I see about it the more it seems like it answers some strange questions.
  7. Hey, I added text because it seemed douchey
  8. What about this? The way Goku grows up in DB is strange. I think Goku was just a chubby short teenager.
  9. @Spork3245 Wow, before you said this is I assumed that flanking was something for end game play. But I just tried it and battles are way more realistic than I thought. I guess I just need to think like a brutal dictator in this game, instead of the balanced leader I try to be in Civ.
  10. Empire, thought it would be pretty easy. I already lost my mounted unit
  11. This is my first Total War game and I'm seriously awful. I played till about turn 15 last night and I lost my army and the second city. Started over this morning and lost my emperor on turn 3. Help?
  12. Why lead with, "haha" if you are really asking a serious question?
  13. Questions which are bullshit: Because corporations cannot be trusted to voluntarily protect the environment, they require regulation. he freer the market, the freer the people. (freer for who? rich or poor?) Taxpayers should not be expected to prop up any theatres or museums that cannot survive on a commercial basis. (what? Most stuff in a museum didn't have a profit motive) Possessing marijuana for personal use should not be a criminal offence. (why just cannabis?) What's good for the most successful corporations is always, ultimately, good for all of us. (who the fuck would agree with this?) Although the electronic age makes official surveillance easier, only wrongdoers need to be worried. (or this) Mothers may have careers, but their first duty is to be homemakers. (and this) A same sex couple in a stable, loving relationship should not be excluded from the possibility of child adoption. (or this) What goes on in a private bedroom between consenting adults is no business of the state. (She claimed, "he asked me to strangle him and take his life insurance") No one can feel naturally homosexual. (wut) Bernie Sanders 2016
  14. This excited: P.S. Met the guy who wrote the VO to this during my freshmen year in college on a field trip to Wideload games. Pushed my way to the front of the class to tell him I thought it was AWESOME. One of the strangest moments of my life. Can't say much more because I signed an NDA for their dumbass puzzle game they made us play test like 8 years ago...
  15. This is a huge rabbit hole to tumble down. The fact is: pregnant women should understand that alcohol is bad for their unborn fetus. It's not the job of the state to decide what should be consumed by pregnant women. However, it is the state's job to provide and protect an unbiased avenue for education on the health risks of said consumption during pregnancy. Anything else is bias towards the people or towards business.
