South Carolina to use congressional map deemed unconstitutional - The Washington Post WWW.WASHINGTONPOST.COM The Supreme Court heard arguments on the redistricting case in October but has yet to rule, essentially running out the clock for this year’s election. -
Dunno?

I feel similarly. Interested in the game, but definitely not from the objectification angle. I’d say the same for most fighting games, both in terms of gore in MK’s case, and bouncy bits in most others. I’m not clamoring for change though. Its a choice, and the general landscape of sexualization in games is a lot different than the 90’s and early 00’s. It’s often shoehorned in different ways now when it’s handled poorly. (FFXVI is a recent example)

Well I'm on board so I'll beat it this time. I remember your criticisms though so I'm just going with the flow.

It has beautiful visuals, great music and an awesome atmosphere. The story is deliberately very "surreal". It's meant to be vague and confusing.

I started over. The main reason I'm giving this another try is because of all the GOTY awards it won. Plus my favorite review site gave it a 9.5. The first thing that struck me when booting this up were the beautiful visuals.

The only reason I bought that last Monster Hunter game at launch was BECAUSE of Dragon's Dogma and it didn't click with me. The crafting is similar in both games and the unique monsters but the combat in DD is better in my opinion for the reasons you stated. And I don't know how far folks are storywise, but this game's main story is way better than the first game and I'm actually interested in seeing how it turns out. And I have no idea how any reviewer beath this game in 20 hours unless they just mainlined the story quests and that's it.

All I'll say is that gameplaywise, I'm interested in this game. But would I feel weird if say, my mom or sister or nieces or female friends walked in and saw me playing it? Yes. Kudos to you if you wouldn't That said, the campiness of this game does remind me of something like Barberella or old Russ Meyer movies. But yeah, I'd check this out cheap at some point.

Went out on my second main combat journey and jesus things escalate quickly. Headed out east for that part of the monster culling quest. A griffin was right outside the capital. Used a wakestone, got it down to 1 health bar, and it just flies off. Got to the quest easy enough but decided I should push on to The Nameless Village, find a minotaur which i got through with another wake stone. Then a bir further I get gang banged by multiple Saurians and wolves. Use another wakestone. Then some rando group of rogues just one shot me just outside the quest marker. So guess I'll try going another way when I play later. Starting with fighter until I get the augment for more carry weight, then I'll try out warrier or rogue. Dumb me sold all my daggers because I saw you get good Thief gear at the Nameless Village but i don't seem to be getting in anytime soon. Maybe I'm wrong but I was thinking the further south you go the harder the game gets so I thought I'd start filling out the north part of the map

Makes sense that "Gearbox SF" wasn't included in the deal, considering that it was previously Perfect World which was bought by Embracer and then it seemed like Embracer forced it to be rebranded (I feel like they were trying to do something like Zenimax/Bethesda with this). I would be worried if I was at Gearbox SF, as I'm not familiar with too many recent successes from them. Also very happy to see that Gearbox Frisco wasn't shuttered like so many other Embracer owned studios. Makes sense that Take2 would grab them, considering they have produced so much together previously.

The Ballad of Buckley's Blowhard - Lawyers, Guns & Money WWW.LAWYERSGUNSMONEYBLOG.COM Holy Joe Lieberman has died. Born in 1942 in Stamford, Connecticut, Lieberman was the future blowhard of all blowhards. Lieberman’s father ran a liquor store and I’m surprised he didn’t later moralistically criticize this. He attended Yale and graduated with a B.A. in political science and economics in 1964. He then got a law degree […]
